Did you know, heat pumps are not just used to heat your home, but they help control the humidity.
There are three main types that you may have:
-Air source- These are the most common and likely what you have installed. But is it high efficiency? If not, it could be costing you 50% more than a high efficient one. Ask us to take a look at yours for an assessment.
-Split ductless- This is what you would use if you decide to get a mini split or ductless unit. You are able to put them in several different places in your home, giving you some design flexibility.
-Geothermal- These heat pumps actually move the heat through pipes underground. These can help reduce a large amount of energy being used in your home. They are also known for being very quiet.
